Seen Through His Eyes

To my brothers in Christ who feel like they’re not a “finished product,”

Do you know who Jesus chose to be His twelve disciples? A zealot. A tax collector. A hot-headed fisherman. Ordinary men with flaws, doubts, and rough edges. By the world’s standards, they were anything but finished, yet, Jesus called them anyway.

He knew their names. He knew their stories. And more importantly, He knew their destinies.

Jesus doesn’t call us based on how we see ourselves, He calls us according to who He created us to become. While we may only see brokenness or lack, He sees the purpose, the potential, and the glory that will be revealed through us. He sees us through the eyes of eternity.

That’s what faith is: believing what God says about us, even when we don’t feel it or see it ourselves.

“And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those He has given me, but raise them up at the last day.” – John 6:39

Jesus’ call on your life is a call to divine purpose. When you answer that call with faith and a willing heart, you can trust that the work He began in you will be perfected because God cannot fail in fulfilling His own plan.

So, brothers, lay down the insecurity that whispers you're not enough. Believe what God has spoken over you. He didn’t call you by accident. He didn’t place a mandate on your life you’re incapable of fulfilling. He never expected you to be perfect, that’s why He’s committed to perfecting you, to make you more like Christ (Philippians 1:6).

The twelve disciples were far from perfect. He doesn’t need your perfection. He needs your belief in His finished work.

When Christ declared, “It is finished,” He wasn’t just ending His suffering, He was sealing your redemption.

His stripes broke the power of shame and guilt that told you you’re unworthy. The enemy's voice is silenced at the cross. Believe it!

He rose again, defeating death and everything that came with it. By His resurrection, you’ve been made new. Believe it!

You are whole. You are equipped. You have what you need to overcome trials, resist temptation, and fulfill your divine calling. Believe it!

Stop chasing perfection. No one can reach it apart from Christ. But know this: in God’s eyes, you are already a finished work in progress, predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. You’re living out the unveiling.

So walk as one who is known by Christ, not by your shortcomings.

Your mistakes don’t disqualify you from His love. Instead, they remind you of your need for it, and challenge you to be a better reflection of it.

You are called. You are chosen. You are becoming who He always knew you would be.

Rest in that.
